As the regular season is winding down for fall sports, it’s time to look over what has happened so far and what is coming up soon.
Currently golf is out of the playoffs, so their season has already come to an end. Their final record for the 2025 season was four wins and two losses.
The boys’ varsity soccer team has finished their regular season with five wins, five losses, and two ties. Soccer won the regional playoffs against Huntingtown on the 28th.
The girls’ varsity soccer team finished their regular season games with four losses, and eight wins. Girls’ soccer won their first playoff game against La Plata 3-2. On the 28th the girls’ team lost regionals and is now out of playoffs.
The girls’ hockey team lost their first playoff game against Kent Island. They finished the season with two wins and eight losses in the regular season.
The girls’ and boys’ cross-country teams have had a successful season. The entire boys’ team has qualified for states, the girls’ team will have three girls running in states.
The varsity volleyball team has finished their regular season undefeated in SMAC with a final record of 13-1. They will have their first playoff game on Friday the 31st.
The girls flag football team has finished the regular season with a final record of 9-1. They will be progressing into the playoffs.
The varsity football team has seven wins and one loss. There is one more regular season game against Huntingtown coming up and will be playing on October 30th.
Overall Calvert High School has had a very successful fall when it comes to sports. Make sure to keep an eye out for these teams as they progress into the playoffs.
