Superbowl Sunday Snacks to Salivate Over

Superbowl Sunday has been a staple in American culture since 1966. With tailgates and parties imminent to happen, it is often difficult figure out what food to bring to the game every year. For those who might be panicking about what exactly to make, here are four food ideas that travel well, easy to make, and are quick recipes ideas for Superbowl Sunday. 

Potato Skins are a great, small, and easy to make appetizer to appease everyone’s taste. Taking crispy potato skins and filling them with melted cheese, chives, bacon, and sour cream, it is a sure-fire hit with the party. Bake the potatoes, and then hallow out the inside once cooked to liking. Pop the carved-out potato skins with cheese in the oven for 8-10 minutes, top with the party’s favorite fillings, and voila! The perfect appetizer in 15 minutes.  

Sliders are one of the most coveted of all American foods, a sure-fire find at all. Sliders can be made using store bought Hawaiian rolls, any choice of meat one would prefer, cheese, some sandwich toppings, arrange in a baking sheet. Heat them in an oven at 400 degrees. It’s a classic, easy way to satiate the whole party’s appetites in one fell swoop.  

Chicken wings are an easy choice for any Superbowl partygoer this year, due to their versatility and general popularity. Pop some frozen chicken wings in the air fryer or oven and make a dip or sauce to coat them. Whether it’s buffalo, spicy, lemon pepper, or garlic herb sauce, it’s bound to be a crowd favorite every year. Be sure to have both ranch and blue cheese on hand.  

Finally, fried pickles are a top tier appetizer for any Superbowl party, and this year should be no exception. Chop up some dry, jarred pickles, coat in milk, breadcrumbs, and any seasoning, pop into a hot pan of oil, and wait until fully crisp to remove.
