I notice there has always been A known animosity towards cats. I think everyone knows that there are far more people who hate cats than those who hate dogs. Things said about them are they are unfriendly, mean, disobedient. Though, the opinions of preferences belong to the individual, I think the bad opinions on cats is a misunderstanding of their nature.  

It should be understood that cats are completely different from dogs. Before deciding that since your cat is not acting like your dog, first it’s better to understand why they are so different. Many decide that one animal is better than the other because of the constant comparison. One is judged because it’s compared to how the other behaves. Instead, it would be better to decide what you like for a pet in the first place to be a deciding factor.   

While dogs can be natural companions, cats need a lot of trust to be comfortable. So, if you are more of an impatient individual dogs might be the better fit. If you enjoy your space and are more patient when it comes to gaining an animal’s trust cats may be the better option.   

Before judging whether or not cats are right for you solely because of their difference from your previous pets you should take the time to consider what the decision should really be based on.
