Spring in Downtown Annapolis is full of cute shops, yummy treats, and kind people. Old Fox Books and Coffeehouse is the sweetest must visit in Downtown for a unique and unforgettable experience.
Starting on the outside, there a two used book carts to browse framed by a black and white striped awning to make this shop hard to miss. The large windows looking into the shop allow for a vintage feel and once the large black door is opened, guests will be transported into a wonderful world of books and coffee.
The first section of the shop is filled with books and reading themed trinkets. It has an old timey feel with a book ladder leaning against one of the shelves and a nook near the window set up for someone to cuddle up and dive into a novel. There is tons of Harry Potter paraphernalia scattered about this front room, including a little game set up for each of the houses.
Farther back is where the coffee shop is set up. They offer a variety of different drinks from flavored lattes, espresso, and tea to hot chocolate and tea lattes like matcha. I got an iced lavender, vanilla, and thyme latte which was absolutely delicious. The flavors were super vibrant, and the espresso shot was the perfect mix with the springy flavors. My friend got the blueberry lavender matcha latte which was the perfect treat for a nice spring day.
If a day trip to Downtown Annapolis is on the books for this spring or summer, Old Fox Books and Coffeehouse is a great spot to visit.
